Music Workshop

Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st Class were treated to a music workshop by the very talented Marianne Knight and Anthony Hennigan. The children learned about different musical instruments and they got hear them being played. The children tapped along to the rhythm and they also got to play their own percussion instruments. Marianne taught them some Irish dancing and the children picked up the steps very quickly. Finally Marianne wrote a beautiful song called “Tooreen”.  The children did a great job learning and performing the chorus for the song.

Everyone had a wonderful morning and throughly enjoyed the musical workshop.
